One of my favorite recipes to keep my mornings with energy is the Green Detox Smoothie. This smoothie is a powerhouse of nutrients that support your body’s natural detoxification process. The combination of coconut water, celery, pineapple, ginger, and cucumber creates a refreshing and revitalizing drink that will leave you feeling energized and ready to take on the day.

  • Coconut Water: Hydrates and replenishes electrolytes.
  • Celery: Packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Pineapple: Rich in bromelain, a digestive enzyme that helps reduce inflammation.
  • Ginger: Aids digestion and supports a healthy gut.
  • Cucumber: Hydrates and provides essential vitamins and minerals.
  • Matcha Tea: Matcha is rich in caffeine and amino acids. Like green tea, matcha is high in antioxidants.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 2 celery stalk, chopped
  • ½ inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • ½ cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • ½ juice of lime optional
  • 1 handful of spinach (optional, for added nutrients)
  • 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Wash and chop the celery, pineapple, cucumber, and ginger. Peel the ginger.
  • Blend: Add all ingredients to a blender. If using, add spinach, lime juice, and matcha powder
  • Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high until all ingredients are fully combined and the smoothie is smooth.
  • Serve: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
